Ukraine conflict: Putin states that Belarus has received its first nuclear weapons.

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, revealed on Friday that Belarus has already received the initial shipment of tactical nuclear weapons. Putin’s declaration followed his timeframe for using nuclear weapons by almost ten days. Vladimir Putin’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February of last year began in Belarus, a critical ally of Russia.

Putin stated during the major event that it would ‘only’ be put into action if Russia’s state or territory were in danger. We don’t really have to use nuclear weapons, he added, even though they were created to guarantee both the survival of the Russian state and our security in the most general sense.

It serves specifically as a deterrent so that everyone who is considering handing us a tactical defeat is aware of the situation.
The decision to shift the small nuclear warheads and delivery systems known as short-range weapons, which are mostly employed in combat, came after the United States took a similar step and put approximately 100 of them in five NATO nations. According to reports, they are in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and Turkey.
‘’Why should we put the whole worldwide at danger? As I’ve already stated, if there is a threat to Russian statehood, it is possible to adopt drastic measures.’’
‘’Regarding demilitarisation, President Putin asserted that “there is nothing left” and that Ukraine will soon stop utilising any of its own weapons, They bring in whatever they need from outside, even the weapons and equipment they use to combat. You can’t fight like that for very long, he continued.’’

Despite this, he maintains that he is still open to having peace negotiations with Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, because he “never closed the door” on such a conversation.
At a session with an African team, President Zelensky declared he would only be amenable to mediation when the obstinate Russian leader evacuated his soldiers.
