Pilots of Virgin Atlantic are debating going on strike over fatigue and their well-being

A strike may be possible, according to Virgin Atlantic pilots, who are worried about their health and well-being.

The COVID-19 pandemic scheduling and rostering arrangements, which are slated to end in December, have reportedly prompted 96% of Virgin Atlantic pilots to support a ballot for strike action, according to the British Airline Pilots Association (Balpa).

According to Virgin, the pilot community and Balpa officials approve the current salary and lifestyle agreement.

The airline also said it was prepared to talk. It has 835 pilots working for it, the bulk of whom are Balpa members.

Balpa emphasizes that it Favors dialogue and compromise but states that if necessary, it is prepared to take industrial action.

Due to the effects of the epidemic, the airline underwent major changes, including staff reductions and financial challenges.
