India loses to Bangladesh by 40 runs using the DLS system in the first ODI.

Amanjot Kaur, a young pace bowler, decided to bowl and had a successful ODI debut, taking four wickets for 31 runs and holding Bangladesh to 152 runs in 43 overs.

India, however, gave up with the bat while attempting to reach the easy mark and was dismissed for 113 in 35.5 overs.

With a 40-ball 20, Deepti Sharma led all scorers for India.

For Bangladesh, Marufa Akter took four wickets while conceding 29 runs.

The 23-year-old Amanjot earlier dismissed Bangladesh’s opener Murshida Khatun, Fargana Hoque, captain Nigar Sultana, and Rabeya Khan as the game was shortened to 44 overs per side owing to rain.

At the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Nigar Sultana led the home team in runs scored with 39 and contributed to a key 49-run partnership with Fargana Hoque (27).

Shorna Akther, the final hitter for Bangladesh, got hurt and did not take the field to bat in the 44th over.
