Glen Coe police discovered three hillwalkers dead.

After failing to return from their trek, three hillwalkers were discovered dead in Glencoe.

On Saturday night, just after 9:00 p.m., the group was reported missing, and emergency personnel were dispatched to the Aonach Eagach ridge.

Following that, a search turned up their bodies.

Participating in the retrieval operation were Police Scotland, HM Coastguard, the RAF, and the Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team.

According to legend, Aonach Eagach is one of the British mainland’s narrowest ridges and must be traversed with scrambling skills.

Two Munro summits, Sgorr nam Fiannaidh at 3,175 feet and Meall Dearg at 3,124 feet, are located along the mountainous six-mile length.

They added that the deaths don’t seem suspicious, according to Police Scotland.

According to a force spokeswoman, immediately after 9.05 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, we learned that three hillwalkers were missing after leaving Glencoe’s Aonach Eagach ridge.

Three bodies were discovered after a search was conducted. The retrieval operation received assistance from the HM Coastguard, Glencoe Mountain Rescue, and RAF Mountain Rescue crews.
