China will organize a Belt and Road meeting in October, according to the foreign ministry.

China began the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), a global infrastructure development initiative, a decade ago with the goal of establishing land and sea links between Asia, Africa, and Europe.

The third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation will take place in Beijing, China, in October, the foreign ministry announced on Thursday.

China started the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) a decade ago as a means of developing global infrastructure and establishing land and sea links between Asia, Africa, and Europe.

The 10th anniversary of the BRI, according to ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin, is also a crucial forum for all parties to discuss and expand high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.

According to him, the Chinese side is in contact with all stakeholders about the forum preparations and will share pertinent information as soon as possible.

President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to visit China in conjunction with the BRI meeting, according to earlier reports in the Russian media.
