At the G-20 Summit, US President Joe Biden is not scheduled to meet with Chinese Premier Li.

Top leaders will attend the G-20 Summit in New Delhi, which is being hosted by India and will feature murals, graffiti, and painted walls.

On September 9–10, India will host the G20 Leaders Summit in the recently opened Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre at Pragati Maidan. International dignitaries have begun to arrive in India for the G20 Summit.

In order to include middle-income countries and maintain global financial stability, the G20 was founded in 1999.

World leaders, including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and US President Joe Biden, will attend the meeting in the nation’s capital.

Premier Li Qiang will represent China at the G20 summit in place of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

As reported by Bloomberg, a White House representative has stated that President Joe Biden, who travelled to India to attend the G20 Summit, does not plan to meet with Chinese Premier Li Qiang this weekend.

After the president departed for the trip, which will also take him to Vietnam, Jake Sullivan, the national security adviser to the president, briefed reporters on the summit’s schedule.

According to Sullivan, who was quoted by Bloomberg, “We don’t have a plan for the president to engage with the Chinese premier at this time.” A question concerning whether the Wall Street Journal allegation that Chinese nationals had gotten access to American military bases would be discussed in New Delhi was posed to him.

Biden voiced regret earlier this week after it was revealed that Xi Jinping, the leader of China, would not be attending the summit. Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, will also not be present.

In order to court countries that they have attempted to influence, the American president plans to take advantage of their absence.

Speaking of Biden’s G20 schedule, he will shake hands with Prime Minister Narendra Modi upon his official arrival on Saturday, or September 9.

The G20 Leaders’ Summit Session 1: “One Earth” will thereafter include him.

He will also participate in the G20 Leaders’ Summit Session 2: “One Family” of the G20 later in the day. A Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment event will also include participation from the US president. His day will come to a close with a cultural programme and dinner with G20 leaders.

Along with other G20 leaders, Biden will visit the Raj Ghat Memorial on September 10. Biden is scheduled to go to Hanoi, Vietnam, from India.

Around 200 G20 meetings were held in 60 places throughout India as India took over the G20 chairmanship on December 1 of last year.

The 18th G20 Summit in New Delhi will serve as the climax of all G20 processes and discussions with ministers, senior officials, and civil society.

A statement from the G20 leaders stating their support for the objectives discussed and chosen during the relevant ministerial and working group meetings will be adopted at the conclusion of the G20 Summit.

South Africa will take over as the G20’s next leader in 2025, followed by Brazil in 2024.
