According to Prime Minister Shehbaz, Nawaz Sharif will head the election campaign when he returns to Pakistan next month.

Shehbaz Sharif, the departing prime minister, has announced that his older brother and former prime minister, Nawaz Sharif, will return to office next month as Pakistan prepares for national elections that are anticipated to take place around the end of this year.
 
Shehbaz stated that Nawaz would run the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) campaign in the next elections while speaking to Geo News on Thursday, August 10.
 
As soon as the caretaker government assumed power, he continued, he would fly to London to meet his older brother Nawaz.
 
He claimed, without specifying a specific date, that “Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan next month and will face the law and lead the election campaign.”
